Link Legal India Law Services along with leading Singapore based law firm Shook Lin & Bok LLP co-hosted a knowledge sharing session on “The Future of Institutional Arbitration in India and Recent trends in Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) Arbitrations” at Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi.

Mr. Atul Sharma, our Managing Partner along with Mr. Abhishek Sharma, Partner shared insights on the benefits of institutional arbitrations vis a vis ad-hoc arbitrations, the various challenges faced by institutional arbitrations in India, recent developments which seek to promote institutional arbitrations and the salient features of the Arbitration and Conciliation Amendment Bill, 2018 as well as the New Delhi International Arbitration Centre Ordinance 2019.

Mr. Sarjit Singh Gill, SC, Managing Partner, Shook Lin & Bok LLP shared updates on recent trends in SIAC Arbitrations including his firm’s experiences.

The Session was attended by representatives from various organisations.
