Link Legal has expanded beyond borders of India and opened an office in New York.
Opening of the US office of Link Legal is a manifestation of the firm’s ambition to grow and service all its clients in different jurisdictions with the knowledge of local laws. The US office will go a long way in supporting the firm’s US clients as well as Indian clients having operations in the United States in a seamless manner. The new opportunities that the US office will afford will also take the firm to the next level to provide comprehensive advice to its clients.
Mr. Nitin Kaushik has come on board as Partner to lead this expansion. Link Legal’s Senior Partner, Mr. Anand Srivastava, who is admitted to practice in New York, will support the US operations while continuing to be a part of the India Management team. He will be spending time between the New York and New Delhi offices.
Nitin has over 18 years of extensive experience in practicing US Laws and engages frequently in matters relating to corporate advisory, commercial documentation, IPR which includes prosecution of trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
Anand who has been with the firm since inception has played a pivotal role in its growth as an Equity Partner and is dual qualified to practice in India and New York. He has completed his LLM from Columbia Law School, New York and has been recognized as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and has also been awarded the Edwin Parker Certificate for International Law.
Link Legal will serve the needs of U.S. and Indian clients to provide strategic, innovative and cost-effective solutions to legal and transactional issues arising in the United States, consistent with global standards of excellence. The Link Legal office in New York will deliver legal services across various practice areas including Litigation and Arbitration, Intellectual Property, Immigration Law, Commercial Contracts, Employment Contracts, and Transactional Work.
The Link Legal family has now grown nationally and globally with five offices in India – New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai along with focused international desk in China. We are excited to take forward our legal practice with this new office in New York, United States.
